It’s time for another amazing, home-brewed cover of an unmistakable Zelda score: Gerudo Valley; however, this time it’s performed with a twist. Produced using only steel drums, Old Mill Steel Drum Band performed this tune at Panfest 2012.

Well, steel drums ARE made from what are essentially garbage cans . . . 😀

rather bad till very bad; barely recognizable

They used the Zelda Symphony version of the song, which already is pretty far from the original. They sounds ok, but I've never been a huge fan of steel drums. Still, always nice to hear people playing these songs! Just makes me jealous for not having a band/orchestra to play them with. 😛

It's a steel drum version of the Gerudo theme from the Anniversary Zelda Symphony concerts! Listen to the song and then the beginning of this again and you'll see it! That's why it doesn't sound as recognizable to you.

    It's incredible.
