I can't wait till this releases in NA, I have Super Mario All-Stars SNES but can not play it since it won't turn on so this is my next Happiness (They better tell us the release date soon or I will be vary mad…And it would be EPIC if they also added Super Mario World and Super Mario World 2 Yoshi Island (Which where one of the best side scroll Mario games. (and I hope they do something like this for Zelda's anniversary too.)

  • starwebs1

YES! I heard about this a while back, but now I know it's true! THAT'S AWESOME! I AM GETTING THIS! I DON'T CARE IF THEY MAKE IT $100 OR SOMETHING! AND I KNOW I'M ALL-CAPSING!

  • bradley

I'm totally buying that. Maybe they'll do one for Zelda next year, Kind of like the Zelda collector's disc for GC.

    • bradley

Keep thumbing me down just to prove you don't want a Zelda All-Star pack.

      • HyruleMonk

I dunno if you know this, but there was a Zelda collector's disc that had Zelda I, Zelda II, Zelda OoT, Zelda MM, and a Zelda WW trial.

        • bradley

Yup I know. It came with purchases of a GameCube for a limited time. (see post above) There was also a OoT Master Quest (which they should put in OoT 3D) that came with pre-orders of WW.

Also for everyone else: thumbs down if you don't want a Zelda All-Stars pack with enhanced graphics versions of the first four Zelda games (or at least the first two for graphics)

  • Ashmic

Thats very cool, for some odd reason I crave like a Mario theme park, like Disney land only Nintendo-fied

idk the cover of this game makes me crave it

    • ChainofTermina

you sir, are a genius. but if a place like that were to be made, it would most definitely be made in Japan, and then maybe a smaller version with different attractions would be made in other countries

      • Ashmic

ha thanks but its ma'am not sir ;]
yeah true all the werid and cool electronical stuff is usually in japan, but why not here ya know, we made mario as much as the next country, the US is definitly a mario country, (zelda too)
maybe if it ever were to happen, it could have more than one location, like the disney worlds, (i think theres more trhan one right O.o)
tho i think thats what you said, XD

        • ChainofTermina

well this is embarrassing. I'm very sorry for calling you sir. I feel like a sexist now….sorry. ":)

but yeah, there are other Disney worlds in other countries, aren't there? but what I meant was if they do do that, they will most definitely build the Japanese one first, and then maybe build one in another location a few years later. so, Americans would have to wait even longer.

sorry again about the sir thing……..

          • Ashmic

no its okay i get it all the time (girls play videogames WTF NO WAY jk XD)

yeah if they did do that the japenbese one would be like amazing and ours would be like, "wow this stinks i wanna go to the one in japan!" XD

            and its okay! <3 :-}

          • ChainofTermina

well, actually, I just assumed you were a guy because "Ashmic" kinda sounds like a dude's name. I know girls play videogames. ๐Ÿ™‚

          • Ashmic

ah well Ashmic is my inituals kinda

            Ashley Mc.

          • Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry, but I thought the same thing. If you revolve Ashmic in your head two or three times, it kind of sounds…Arabic. But now I understand how you formed it, and I gotta say it's very creative.

          • Ashmic

XD sorry? lol anyways its okay, and thankks <3

          • Same here; all's well.

    • bradley

Nintendo Land. Make it more broad ๐Ÿ˜€

    • Joko tree

A Mario theme park is a good idea but what about a Nintendo world.

      • Ashmic

yeah that too of course, like huge sections of the park theres like zelda land, donkey kong land ( i don't want to get shot out of a barrel tho! ><)

  • ken

This is cool and all but 30 bucks for this is a little high. 19.99 would have been a much better price considering this game is almost 20 years old.

    • Margar

But it's not just the games it's the soundtrack and book, so think of it at 20 for the games and 10 for the other stuff. Totally fair price, IMO.

  • QueenxLink

It would be so great if they could release a sountrack for Zelda ^^

  • Hero of Winds

I wonder if they'll do this for Zelda when it turns 25 next year?

  • I'd buy this just for the soundtrack and booklet. 8D Super Mario 64 had some awesome tracks and is my favorite game besides the Super Mario Galaxies. I'm also crossing my fingers for a Zelda All-Star pack!

  • LoZisSo69

*Goes to Europe and buys one*
What, it's still in English, right?

    • ChainofTermina

      tha' it is, eh wot

  • Blizz

There have been enough special Zelda releases. It's about frackin' time that Mario gets some attention.

  • Blizz

This is totally awesome. I'm SO on it like white on rice!

The Mario fan community is complaining a little bit of Super Mario All-Stars not including Super Mario World like it did originally. Oh well.

    • jwalraven

I don't think it did originally. My copy of All-Stars didn't have Super Mario World on it. Mind you though, when my mom and I got our SNES, it was bundled with Super Mario World.

  • Seems cool though I mean I am sure they could of fit more into it such as Super Mario 64 along with it.

  • majoras mask fan

Dam it id did not icude world and 64 as the nerd would say(avgn if you don’t know) shit loud of fuck and it sucks monky fuck

  • Blizz

I missed out on the Zelda Collector's Edition and Metroid Prime Trilogy. I can't miss out on this one, dangnabbit! >.<

    • ChainofTermina

you can still probably get those. I actually managed to get the Zelda Collector's Edition when it first came out without having to buy the Gamecube with it.

      • Blizz

Yes, I can. But for a heck of a lot more money. I mean that I'm not going to miss out on the original deal this time around.

        • ChainofTermina

          oh. okay.

  • mario_master

there is a great possibility considering zelda is nintendo’s 2nd biggest franchise but without the wii they would never do that. reason name two times or one for that matter in which nintendo released a nintendo themed CONSOLE not hand-held

  • Ulises

What? No Mario 64? No Yoshi's Island? No Super Mario World? Just a plain port of Super Mario All-Stars (wich by now everyone should have on theirs computers or SuperNes) along with some music that I'm sure you can listen in Youtube right now anyway.

I mean no offense to Mario´s fans but compared to what Nintendo is doing with Ocarina of Time on the 3DS there isn't anything new or exiting about this bundle, well maybe that booklet with the Super Mario History but I rather wait for the scans than paid for it. Nintendo could do it better…

    • Blizz

I'm big with games such as the Sonic Mega and Gems Collection. This type of game is right up my alley and is something I've been wanting for ages. Hopefully this collector's edition opens the doorway to other collections in the future.

      • Hombre de Mundo

Yeah but it's not a good collector's disc. Four games isn' t a lot. Now, had they included Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Mario 64 and perhaps Dr Mario, Mario Kart, perhaps Donkey Kong or SMRPG, that would've been a much better package, whereas this is just a re-release of a SNES game made almost 20 years ago.

  • triforceguy1(Leon)

I've had a look around on the UK gaming stores websites (game, gamestation etc.) and they all say that this ill be released at £20, much lower than any other Wii game, so either nintendo have got a christmas spirit by making this cheap for what you get or they found a way of getting more money by selling something brilliant very cheaply, either way, I'm now a very happy bunny E:D

  • Cukeman

Super Mario All-Stars sucked big time. Ruined ports of the original excellent games. I thought this was gonna be something cool…

    • Cukeman

Why not just put Super Mario All-Stars on the Virtual Console…

      • Blizz

Because all of the original versions of the game are already on there. This collector's edition has the All-stars versions, which were graphical updates. This is a cash-in opportunity for them to sell it in this manner. I'm willing to go purchase that, download SMW on VC, and that would make me happy.

  • bradley

They should have ported the version that includes Super Mario World.

  • Bradley

    Only $30?

Awesome! If this makes it to North America, I'm definitely picking it up.

  • Dillon

There was the Zelda compilation game set that came with The Wind Waker. Pretty much the exact same thing as this.

  • Erikson

@Cukeman It’s so some people won’t whine that they wasted their money on the originals that are available on the VC, the ones who thinks are inferior to their All-Stars counterparts.

  • Blade of Evil's Bane

There is nearly no chance if you can remember Legend of Zelda Collectors Edition for GCN which included OoT, MM, LoZ and AoL

    • Joko tree

Plus If you've got the GameBoy Player and all of the Zelda GB cartrages you could play every Zelda game on the GCN till PH comes out.

  • Blizz

Mario isn't the only one that will have special birthday attention. There's also Sonic: http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2010/10/rumour_s

  • VanitasXII

Nintendo could port the BS Zeldas to the Wii, add LoZ, AoL, ALttP, and a single player port of Four Swords (GBA). That'd make for a nice Zelda-versery.

  • Henrik

Yeah I have the Zelda Collection for GC but if they gonna do a new one for wii I hope to god they include Zelda 3 Link to the past aswell.

That I think should have been in the GC collection already.

This Mario collection is cool and all but with the disc space wii cd can have I still think they could have updated the content.

I understand that they did not included Super Mario world for the orginal All stars on SNES but no reason to not include it in the wii version.

Would not have said no to Mario 64 and Mario Land ethier.

  • Super Luigi 64

I dunno… I already have all four on VC. They could’ve at least used “Super Mario All-Stars + Supet Mario World” instead of just plain SM-AS.

Who am I kidding? I’ll get this if it makes it to Canada.

What they really should do is port levels from old mario games into the New Super Mario Bros. Wii engine so they can be multiplayer and stuff and have updated graphics.

  • Icy

Wow! $30? I hope it stays that price. I will definitely be getting this. ๐Ÿ˜€
