If you’ve been wondering who has been taking charge of Breath of the Wild’s development, you can rest assured that it is being directed by good hands. Hidemaro Fujibayashi, who has been the director for two Zelda games already, namely Skyward Sword and Minish Cap, will be this game’s director. Aonuma has also been revealed to be the producer; not much of a surprise there.

Breath of the Wild, we can rest assured that the game will be fantastic, as they are both veterans in the Zelda team who have been involved in both the old Zelda and the new Zelda era that started to take shape with Skyward Sword’s release.

I think Fujibayashi has a fantastic sense of the “essence” of Zelda. I trust him here.

The subtitle could’ve been better. Like ‘The Sheikah Slate’….But it would’ve had the same initials as Skyward Sword, so….maybe not.

The point is that not even the Sheikah Slate is as important to this game as the sense of wonder you get from exploring the world. The world itself is the critical element of the game.
