Many years removed from the release of his fan-favorite Majora’s Mask albums, Times End and Times End II, Theophany has surprised us with a brand new Zelda remix – his first in eight years – to start the new year.
This six minute remix is a stunning rendition of the Colgera battle theme from Tears of the Kingdom. The original song is already my favorite new theme in Tears of the Kingdom, and now I’ve listened to this remix on repeat while writing this article. It’s an easy addition to my Zelda playlist.
The new video is accompanied by a new piece of art by Cynthia Leman featuring Link and Tulin fighting Colgera. Cynthia shows off the design progress in a series of images on Instagram that are worth checking out while you also repeatedly listen to Theophany’s new song.
This has been an incredible surprise that makes me even more excited for what Zelda fans will accomplish this year!
