Well, the leaves have finally dropped from the trees (in some hemispheres), and in some places winter has set up shop early. That means it’s a long time coming for us to finally reveal the winners of the ZU Linktober art contest for 2024!
We would like to thank all of our contributors for their wonderful submissions and continued patience while we took the time to go over each individual piece. In total, we had just under 500 individual entries from all over the world, so as you can imagine, it took us more time than expected to come to a decision.
With all that said, let’s congratulate our winners:
- First prize was presented to Liam (@OutsetEmporium), for their piece, Night.
- Second prize was presented to Chokko (@chokkokat), for their piece, Music/Dance.
- Third prize was presented to Aria (@tloariart), for their piece, Favorite Character/Element
Each winner has consented to receive their prize of $70, $50, and $40 USD, respectively. In addition, we will be highlighting each individual artist with an interview and/or background about their piece, along with a retrospective on their own artistic journey and The Legend of Zelda‘s impact on it.
