A fresh batch of Nintendo Switch profile icons have appeared, this time promoting the newly released Switch game Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition. Close to twenty different styles are available to choose from featuring classic Nintendo Entertainment System games like the very first Super Mario Bros., Metroid, and of course The Legend of Zelda. Now you can compete against other aspiring speedrunning super-players online with your favorite retro style.
Bear in mind a new wave of icons will refresh Wednesday from now until August 14, so be sure to redeem the icons you want before they’re gone! Each icon can be redeemed for the reasonable cost of 10 Platinum Points for My Nintendo Rewards Members. If you don’t have an account, it is easy to set one up (and get started collecting Platinum Points) on the Nintendo website. Redeemed icons remain available for My Nintendo Rewards Members even after a Nintendo Switch Online subscription expires.
