The dream of raising up the fantastical Master Sword against the forces of evil and becoming the hero of legend will be coming true very soon for Zelda fans. Bandai-owned figurine maker PROPLICA recently announced the arrival of The Blade of Evil’s Bane to their collection, showing a glimpse of the high-quality replica. Bandai Spirits posted a look at the first public prototype on their official TikTok account. A prototype was available for convention-goers to witness at Tamashii Nation 2023 on Friday November 17th.
PROPLICA toy figures are known for their high quality build and attention to detail, as well as occasionally having electronic features that enhance the play value of the replica. We might expect the final product to feature some kind of special Easter egg, such as signature lighting or sound effects referencing Fi, but that’s just speculation. As it is, the replica is very impressive, and at presumably 1:1 scale, it will be quite a marvel to behold in-person, especially in its pedestal.
There is no release date for the figure at the time of this writing.
