Zelda CDI voice actors return for a notorious indie game releasing this year

Are you so hungry for Zelda content that you could eat an Octorok? Well it turns out that Limited Run Games is about to serve the perfect course to whet your appetite. The renown physical indie publisher is releasing an “interactive animated adventure” called Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore, and it sure looks a lot like the infamous Zelda CDI games. That’s because Rob Dunlavey, the artist who made the Zelda CDI backgrounds has hand painted the backgrounds for Arzette, too! What’s more, the CDI voice actors for Link and Princess Zelda Jeffrey Rath and Bonniejean Wilbur have also returned to lend their cringeworthy charm to this spunky spiritual successor. What more could your CDI-loving heart possibly want?

One look at this CDI-inspired adventure ensures that Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore is anything but boring around here.

The entire project is being developed by Seedy Eye Software and published and funded by Limited Run Games. Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore will be released on the Nintendo Switch and all other platforms sometime later in 2023, so long as you have enough rupees.
