Calling all nerdy foodies! Do you like to bake? Are you over the moon with Majora’s Mask? Then keep reading for more delicious info. (And if you don’t like to cook, check it out anyway.) Zelda Universe has teamed up with the folks behind the Kickstarter campaign for the latest Legends Cookbook: The Imp’s Masquerade. While the fundraiser has met its base goal with flying colors to get it to the printing press, there is still time to raise funds to unlock even more options for the popular cookbook, which include added recipes, a shiny foil cover, and more. Now, a new adventure has emerged in the campaign: an exclusive Masquerade Cookoff Competition.
Here’s how it works: participants have a chance to win $50 USD of Nintendo eShop credit, a free Royal Chef apron, a free digital copy of the Legends Cookbook: The Imp’s Masquerade, and the opportunity to have their masterpiece featured in the final production of the cookbook when they enter the Masquerade Cookoff. There are three ways to enter the contest itself:
- The Masquerade Cookoff – Entrants create a delicious recipe inspired by Majora’s Mask and share it with the hashtag #MasqueradeCookoff. Winning recipes get published.
- Arts & Crafts Festival – Entrants create a piece of Majora’s Mask fanart and share it with the hashtag #MasqueradeCookoff. Winning artwork gets published.
- Last Minute Raffle Giveaway – Entrants still have the opportunity to submit extra entries for a chance to win the $50 eShop credit and apron by completing specific tasks on the cookbook’s Gleam.io giveaway.
Watch the (very entertaining) video above with Zelda Universe’s Mary and Kelly for more details and rules about the contest. Thanks to the generosity of our Legends Cookbook friends, fans can now use the Zelda Universe exclusive code COOKINGCLASS to get three extra entries in the Cookoff. Do keep in mind that the time window for entering the Masquerade Cookoff closes in a few short days from now on February the 28th. Fans can still contribute to the project’s Kickstarter fundraiser until it closes on March 13th. Bon appetit!
Can the talented artists of food and art satisfy the moon’s hunger before it consumes everything? We’ll find out in 72 hours.
