This month, a new version of the Split Pad Pro will be launching in Japan, as explained by Nintendo Everything. The new Split Pad Fit received a video reveal, depicting the new style and shape of the accessory. Similarly to the Split Pad Pro, it’s designed to provide a more solid gaming controller experience while playing in handheld mode, compared to handling Joy-Cons. However, it has steered away from the traditional handheld controller design to become more compact.

Other similarities include the design of the d-pad, the ability to arrange functions on the rear buttons and its absence of HD Rumble or NFC support features. It will also be available in 4 different colors. Despite not knowing the pricing, we know that the Split Pad Pro starts from $49.99 (USD) on HORI USA.
There is no information regarding this new model being available in the west, but some Split Pad Pro variants are already accessible outside of Japan.
