If you visit our YouTube channel regularly, you may have noticed a new series showing up in your subscription feed in the last couple of weeks. We have partnered with Sacred Realms: A Zelda Retrospective Podcast to begin publishing their weekly show on our YouTube channel.
Sacred Realms is an audio-only weekly podcast that explores one section of a Zelda game each week. Each week, the show hosts, brothers Lyndon and Matt, play one section of a Zelda game and then talk about what they have played. Most episodes feature guests from around the Zelda community including Zelda Universe webmaster Cody, Max Nichols (the owner of Hyrule Interviews and past contributor to Zelda Legends), and Melora (the owner of History of Hyrule).
The show is currently on its sixth season which covers The Legend of Zelda and later Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. The new season just began, so now is a great time to jump in! New episodes are released every Wednesday. Two episodes are currently available on our YouTube channel, and the second episode is a bonus episode featuring an interview with Phil Summers, the creator of Hand-Drawn Game Guides.
You can also listen to Sacred Realms on all major podcast providers. Our podcast page includes links to the Sacred Realms website as well as links to other excellent Zelda podcasts.
This is the beginning of a new partnership between Zelda Universe and Sacred Realms, and we hope to have other exciting collaborations to share in the future. For today, you can check out the first two episodes of seasons six, and we have a special ZUCast Mini episode featuring an interview with Lyndon and Matt hosted by Cody.
