This week I had the amazing opportunity to join both Parker Deal and AJ McRae from FanatixFour on their podcast Directly to You. In the podcast we discuss a range of topics, including enemies absent from Breath of the Wild that we would like to see in the upcoming sequel, Pikmin 3, Nintendo’s financial report, and the new Smash update.
Many of the enemies discussed in the podcast relate to Nintendo’s own description of the upcoming sequel to be much darker than what we’ve previously seen before in a Zelda game. We naturally discussed our hopes for enemies such as redeads, skulltulas, and poes, as well as some personal preferences of ropes and wallmasters.
In the episode we also discussed Zelda’s role in the sequel, including the rumors of her possibly being a playable character and how that might work. We also address some questions from the community about what the new game’s name will be, our biggest hopes for the sequel, and where the Zelda franchise will go after Breath of the Wild.
