According to an article from Nintendo Life, Zelda archivist History of Hyrule revealed the supposed final installment of the Zelda Choose-Your-Own-Adventure book series. Another “CYOA” book from 1986 was previously discovered that was based on the NES classic, The Legend of Zelda. This book allowed you to play from Zelda’s perspective and uncovered much more lore!
This time, the seemingly final installment from 1992 was named The Legend of Zelda: The Triforce of the Gods, and it was uploaded on History of Hyrule’s Twitter account last month. The name is the same Japanese title for the game A Link to the Past. It takes place during the events of A Link to the Past, however, it includes some differences like the Light World bosses having connections with the deities of Power, Wisdom, and Courage. Interestingly, it’s impossible to finish the book in an orderly fashion as most of the directions send the player to the incorrect page.
You can find more content about the game book on the Internet Archive. Compared to the art design of the 1986 book, this 1992 release boasted illustrations that looked increasingly familiar to the beloved characters we know today.
