Have you ever wondered what it would be like to meet yourself? Thankfully, at least in the case of King Rhoam, Breath of the Wild player and YouTuber ThornyFox has made this possible by letting the Old Man meet himself.
After proving that a random Yiga Blademaster is worthy of pulling the Master Sword, ThornyFox set out on his next, grand, tedious quest. This time, ThornyFox returned to the Great Plateau and was intrigued by the Old Man. Upon studying this mysterious figure, they discovered that each Old Man on the Plateau was a different NPC, creating the illusion that the Old Man was traveling quickly around the area. But this sparks the question: What happens if two different Old Man NPCs end up meeting? Well, this short and funny video shows just that.
Bringing the two together does not require any fancy glitches or hacking, but instead is possible by continuously sprinting into the Old Man until he reaches the desired destination. So, no major glitches, but a process that might take a lot of time.
After the two Old Man NPCs are together, some hilarious situations occur thanks to ThornyFox’s creativity and humor. It is still amazing to still see Breath of the Wild being stretched in new ways by its creative players. After the Yiga Blademaster and now this, ThornyFox deserves the title “The Hero of Patience.”
