Move over John Wick, Link is the new big-screen action star in YouTuber Peco’s new stunning combat montage.
This series of action-packed clips might just contain some of the most impressive and cinematic combat possible within Breath of The Wild. To Peco, Gold Lynels are playthings, and hordes of enemies go down faster than in Age of Calamity. What might be a massive or lengthy battle for most players is merely a platform for impressive stunts in this montage. The video even begins with a small flex that has Link just chilling underneath a Golden Lynel like it is nothing! Meanwhile, the writer of this article is scared to face any Lynel in Hero Mode at all.
All of these combat skills and epic shots truly show a mastery of Breath of the Wild that few players have achieved. The intricate and rapid movements are so impressive that it is almost like an art, and by slowing the video down it is possible to appreciate each of Peco’s moves even more. Like how they toss a bomb down, light a Bokoblin on fire with a Fire Rod, launch it in the sky with the bomb, Stasis the Bokoblin in midair, switch back to the Master Sword, use Revali’s Gale, and finally slam the Bokoblin back to the ground with a downward thrust. At normal speed, this happens in about 10 seconds and each small step is easily missed.
Either way you watch the video, it is insanely impressive, and definitely worth the watch. Who knows, you might learn a thing or two as well!
