Smash Bros. Ultimate pays tribute to series celebrating 35 years, including Zelda

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a great way to celebrate and enjoy your favorite series, and the developers think so as well. For three days, starting May 28 and ending May 30, Smash Ultimate will be paying tribute to several game series that turned 35 in 2021, including Zelda and Metroid.

The event will focus on several franchises, featuring characters from Zelda, Metroid, Castlevania, Kid Icarus, and Dragon Quest. Nintendo has not yet done much for The Legend of Zelda’s 35th anniversary, outside of the announcement of Skyward Sword HD, so this will be a nice holdover until E3.
