The Zelda merchandise-a-thon continues after Nintendo revealed a worldwide release of a Zelda and Loftwing amiibo, a cute Korok collection, and Skyward Sword HD merchandise exclusive to the Nintendo Tokyo Store. But now Zelda fans in Europe and the United Kingdom can enjoy their own piece of the action as brand new Skyward Sword HD preorder merchandise has appeared across online retailers across the continent.
It all started when images of a never-before-seen Skyward Sword HD steelbook surfaced from the French website Nintend’Alerts on May 20, 2021. The steelbook is available with a preorder of the game, and it comes with a metal keychain of the classic Hyrulean coat of arms with a Triforce insignia.
At first, it seemed that the steelbook set was available only in a few European countries, but now we can happily confirm this is not the case. Several retailers in the U.K. are also carrying the steelbook set, and the retailer GAME has sweetened the deal by adding a free t-shirt! Unlike the other merchandise, Nintendo has not yet made a public announcement about this set at the time of this writing. Other European retailers who are offering the steelbook set include the French site Micromania, Dutch retailer Game Mania, and German retailers Saturn and Media Markt. It is highly encouraged to check each retailer’s specifics for more details about availability, ordering, and shipping.
With new Zelda information coming out at a much faster pace now, it’s very possible that this set can become available in the United States in the near future.
