Yuga’s Art Gallery: Trading places

Ever since I found out Ravio’s little “secret,” so many fun ideas popped into my head of funny little scenarios he and Link could get into. A costume swap was among them, and I’m so happy to see the idea brought to life by ChinguCosplay!

ChinguCosplay has such a unique, distinct style, working mainly with pen and choosing to crosshatch instead of fully coloring. That alone has always stood out to me, but there is so much creativity also seen in this cute little piece. The artists has portrayed both Link and Ravio in a chibi-like style, playing dress up as one another. Ravio looks like he’s about ready to start an adventure while Link just looks so cozy wrapped up in Ravio’s garbs!

This piece was done as a Linktober prompt under the theme “outfit,” and what a fun spin on it this is! I’m sure a lot of people probably thought of games like Breath of the Wild or Tri Force Heroes with all the various costumes you can collect (myself included in the latter group), but ChinguCosplay took it one step further and switched things up!

I’m always a sucker for any art including Ravio: Add in a unique style and a creative concept and you’ve got a masterpiece! I absolutely love this drawing, and I hope you do as well.
