Survival adventure game Windbound is set to be released soon on August 28, 2020. With its release date approaching, IGN recently previewed the game and stated that it was an enjoyable mix of both Breath of the Wild and The Wind Waker.
While some survival adventure games can feel repetitive, IGN promises that Windbound’s execution of storytelling, sailing, and nomadic exploration will give players a breath of fresh air within the genre. The preview also reports the combat style flows well, as the game uses an enemy lock-on function, dodge-rolling, stealth, and weapon variety to allow players flexibility when fighting.
Windbound will be available to play on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4, and Google Stadia for $29.99.
