We have been pleasantly astounded by the art styles of Breath of the Wild and Link’s Awakening on Switch in recent years, with both games being very distinctively different.
An artist by the name of Stephen J. Plant has put together a stunning imagining of what Breath of the Wild 2 would look like with the art style of Link’s Awakening.
Stephen utilised his talents using Blender to create his wonderful work, and Photoshop to create things like the flame of the torch that Link holds.
Zelda has been notorious for different art styles, most notably so during the jump from the Nintendo 64 to the GameCube, when Took Link slapped us unrealistically in the face. Fast forward to today and fans look back on the Wind Waker as a masterpiece, with a lot of love to give to the then controversial art reform.
With worries long since ceased of art style changes in the Zelda franchise, and a fan-base trusting of Nintendo’s artistic direction, Stephen has concocted scenes that fans can appreciate and yearn for more of the various different art styles that are now attributed with Zelda games.
