Breath of the Wild is a game that will live long in the memory of Zelda fans all across the world. The game environment is the biggest of any Zelda title has to offer to date, with a vast map that gives you freedom like never before to explore Hyrule.
Zelda fan Mason Drumm spent a cool 70 hours creating a truly breathtaking wooden representation of Breath of the Wild‘s map, taking the time to recreate the mountainous terrain, the rivers, and lakes all by hand. It was an extensive effort and Mason explained that the sanding-down part of the process was “probably the most time-consuming part of the project.”
Mason takes you through his project from start to finish in a better way than we ever could with a fantastic video, explaining how he completed this mammoth task.
Ultimately, the attention to detail is outstanding, and the end result is one that will surely impress any Zelda fan. Mason even added in a map key which is a neat addition to the finished project.
