GameXplain has even more direct-feed footage to share from the E3 2019 demo of the Link’s Awakening remake, and this time, we meet another familiar face from the original.
Mr. Write is a lonely writer whose hobby is to send letters to people. Sadly, he never receives one in return — until Link steps in with his Trading Sequence sidequest (in the original game, at least).
The character is based on business advisor Dr. Wright from the construction-building game SimCity. His theme song is also here in remade fashion, still based on Dr. Wright’s theme from the SNES version of SimCity.
You can also catch some new dialogue from Dampe towards the very end of the video when Link enters his shack a little too early.
