This past summer, Hallmark began releasing Nintendo-themed ornaments, and it is finally The Legend of Zelda‘s turn. The latest ornament features Link, sporting his original design from The Legend of Zelda on the NES, and includes a fun surprise: the ornament plays the Zelda theme song!
Hallmark began shipping the ornaments earlier this month, and they are still available for purchase for $17.99 USD. Additional details, including several more images and a sample of the sound effect, can be viewed at Hallmark’s online store.
I do not usually put up a Christmas tree, but I find myself wanting to own this ornament anyway. There have been ornaments for other popular toys and collectible items for years, and it’s pretty cool to see some video games getting the same treatment. I would have begged to have this ornament as a kid!
