A new video from Nintendo Wire gives a glimpse at how the upcoming Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition holds up when compared to its original release on Wii U. Considering the Wii U version certainly wasn’t lacking in terms of visual fidelity, it’s surprising to see such noticeable improvement in the upcoming port for Nintendo Switch. On top of its brighter, crisper appearance the game’s framerate holds up significantly better, offering the quintessential Hyrule Warriors experience for both returning players and newcomers alike while also packing in a boatload of content. Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will release on the Nintendo Switch on May 25, and comes with all of the additional content, characters, and modes that were included with both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of the game.
