In a recent interview with Kotaku, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime set somewhat of a more narrow release window for Breath of the Wild’s final announced DLC content, The Champions’ Ballad. It is set for release in December.

While speaking with Kotaku, Fils-Aime commented that the release of the four Champion amiibo does not coincide with any immediate content in-game, other than the ones unlocked by the amiibo.

“We will shortly be announcing the date for that content, so I would not lock and load on November 10th,” said Fils-Aime.

In an update to the story, pointed out by Twitter user LordofGamez, the eShop has updated to announce the DLC as officially having a planned release window of December 2017. Be wary of the word planned, as Nintendo will be sure to hold back on releasing the content if anything needs more work.

In the interview Fils-Aime also talked about other topics such as classic games on Switch, video-on-demand services, and… Mother 3? The full interview can be read here.

I don’t mind if they take their time for it, but I’d really like to know more info about the content of that story.

Also, on paragraph 2, 3 and 6 you mispelled Reggie’s last name.
