We often report on creative and inventive ways people have of turning existing Amiibo into custom figures, but it’s frequently just the finished product that you get to see. However, Nintendo Wire has a series of videos that showcase the entire process of producing your very own custom Amiibo, from the materials you’ll need for the job to the finished product. Below is one such video showing how to make Deku, Goron, and Zora Link from Majora’s Mask. Which of the three Amiibo featured do you like the best?

The amount of ingenuity and resourcefulness that goes into crafting these custom Amiibo is truly something to be admired. I was tempted to give Zora Link a try until I saw just how much of a headache it seemed to be. Not to mention I don’t think I could bring myself to butcher an Ocarina of Time Link Amiibo considering how hard they are to find at the moment.

Creative, but waste of amiibo – this is the reason why people can’t buy amiibo anymore, they buy up the most hard to get and have to use them for taking apart them for theyre own creative reason -sigh- not cool. Why did it have to be the limited edition Link…Can’t they just make own cosume made dolls without using hard to get amiibo?
