E3 reaches its third day, and Zelda information is still emerging. Although this time it is not related to Breath of the Wild, but rather to a spin-off game featuring Zelda’s alter ego, Sheik.
During an interview with Gamerant, Shigeru Miyamoto talked about a past discussion the Nintendo development team had concerning Sheik as the protagonist for a game. He stated, “Within the development team, too, there have been talks about how it might be cool to have a game that features Sheik as a protagonist. It’s having maybe a Zelda spin-off with Sheik as a protagonist, for example, I don’t think that’s an impossibility.”
It would certainly be a game many would buy, including this writer, should such a game come to fruition. Here’s hoping the idea reaches our local store’s shelves sometime in the future, for it would definitely be an interesting game to play.
