If you’re reading this chances are you, like me, are a fan of The Legend of Zelda. But that doesn’t mean we can’t get a bit of twisted satisfaction out of Link’s varied death animations.

YouTuber Master0fHyrule feeds this need with their compliation of Link’s various demises in every current Zelda game. The video goes largely in the order of game release, and chronicles everything from drowning to Link’s transformations in Majora’s Mask. For Zelda veterans who rarely see the Game Over screen unless they want to, this video is just for you.

By the end of the year we’ll have Zelda Wii U to add to Zelda’s line of Game Over screens. Will you be doing your best to avoid seeing it, or will you plow headfirst into each battle with half a heart?

Correct me if I’m wrong; but isn’t it the same as the Majora’s mask young Link drowning animation?

      • It’s a different Young Link model at the very least, and by that logic there’s no reason for them to have the regular Majora’s Mask link death animation cause the Ocarina of Time young link regular death animation was included.
