In this week’s episode of Zelda News, Amanda reviews new Nintendo World Championship information, highlights some interesting official Zelda artwork, and talks more about Amiibo.

It was revealed late last week that one of the games that will be playable at the Nintendo World Championship will be none other than The Legend of Zelda. The championship will be livestreamed on June 14 at 3pm PDT.

Akira Himekawa unveiled three pieces of previously unreleased artwork from the Zelda manga series. It wasn’t specified why these pieces were never used, but Himekawa released them with the hope that fans would enjoy them.

And finally, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata reaffirmed that he will still be hosting Nintendo Directs, after he was noticeably absent from the latest showing. He also apologized for the Amiibo shortage once again, stating that they will reprint some figures. However, which ones will be reprinted or when this will happen is unknown as of now.
