A Link to the Past is widely considered to be one of the defining games in the Zelda series, setting a precedent of quality for every Zelda game that has come after it. Well, here is some good news for European fans; A Link to the Past will be coming to the Wii U eShop later this week on Thursday, December 12 according to Nintendo’s latest press release. The game will be priced at €7.99/£5.49, and the press release states that the European version of the game will be the one available for download. This raises some concerns that the game will be running at a 50Hz refresh rate, which results in the game running noticeably slower than its North American and Japanese counterparts, though that currently remains to be seen.
