For the past nine years the Zelda Reorchestrated team has been producing Zelda arrangements out of their love for the series and for the purpose to share symphonic performances of Zelda scores as they would sound at a live show. With that being said, we at Zelda Universe are woeful to announce the bittersweet end to one of the greatest Zelda musical journeys. We would like to extend our appreciation and support to the wonderful team that has worked tirelessly to bring us powerful and beautiful melodies.

However, the journey isn’t quite over yet…

Zelda Reorchestrated’s website will remain online until June 12, 2013 but will go dark permanently following that date. Nevertheless, with every great story, there is a legend that survives on the wind’s breath. Zelda Universe is deeply honored to be a part of this legend. In order to  keep this legacy alive, we will be hosting all of Zelda Reorchestrated’s work, which will be accessible for fans’ enjoyment. If you would like to make a donation to personally support Zelda Reorchestrated, you can do so here.

Once again, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the ZREO team and we wish you the best of luck in your futures!

Can some please post Twilight Symphony on youtube or a streaming website? I would love to hear it but I cannot torrent it as they suggest because of rules against torrenting at my college

  • gravyfan

I can't say thank you enough to the awesome ZREO people. Honestly, I can't express my sadness about you all closing this chapter, but I do understand that you all need to open new chapters in life. So thanks team ZREO, from the bottom of my heart. The Twilight Symphony is without doubt the greatest Zelda music project ever undertaken and executed.

I just want to keep thanking you guys, but I suppose I shall have to stop sometime to breathe. God bless you all as you continue on in life!

this is truely sad, yet I'm glad they put so much time and effort into doing this for all of us and greatly apreciate it. though I admit I have nto listened to there music in a while, I pray that not a single song be lost when they are brought here. and I will be sure to listen to thier wonderful music often both because it truely is great, but also because I know they've put alot into makeing the music.

  • Zelda Paradox

Man….everythings going down….1st Nintendo Show 3D, now this… I [still] would Like to thank these guys for making [in my opinion] the very best music [like no one ever made]. to make songs was their real test, to play them is their cause….

"…we will be hosting all of Zelda Reorchestrated’s work, which will be accessible for fans’ enjoyment."

Where do we find it after their site goes down?

    • Hombre de Mundo

These details haven't been sorted out yet but once it's all done it should be easy to find and we'll of course post an update.

      • RPH1

Thanks for the answer, Hombre. I'm just glad ZREO will live on in some form.

Thanks, staff of ZU, for planning on hosting ZREO's music. I think my heart stopped when I read the initial news update on the same page.

At first I thought that this was a late April Fool's joke. And a good one too. Then I realized that the post still wasn't taken down after a day, and then the horrible truth dawned on me. . .
I remember the first time I discovered ZREO was when I was in sixth grade. I wasn't exactly the most popular kid in school, and I was picked on by a lot of people. When I went home, I would always listen to ZREO and try to forget about all the bad things that happened at school. It was one of the only things that helped me through my Junior High years.
When I finished reading their final post, I considered learning how to design websites just so that I could keep their work and legacy alive. As a matter of fact, I'm still going to, even if ZD is hosting their work. ZREO has been a major part of my life, and I want to contribute something to them. I wish every member of ZREO good luck. May their talents aid them in their careers.
I'm glad that Twilight Symphony was their swan song.

  • Jaden

Must have gotten into a huge debt with their twilight symphony. They should have just kept it simple and not taken the big risk

    • Keimori

Um, no, just no, They decided they need to move on, they state that very clearly.

Nine years is a long time to work on the same thing and logic dictates that eventually the team will want to do new things career wise.

  • mzxrules

Oh ZREO… nobody could ever show me a song you guys made that I liked.

    • Keimori

Considering one can't see music, It stands to reason that you can't be shown their music.

That bit of sarcasm aside, do you honestly not care for orchestrated music?
or are you just tone deaf?

  • Some guy

How did this happen, they're great, they got me listening to classical music again. They will be missed by me, by you and by everybody that has good taste in music.
PS Nintedo should have hired them.

Maybe Nintendo did. Maybe that's why they had to stop ZREO, because they would be too consumed with working with Nintendo. What if Nintendo asked them to reorchestrate the Wind Waker soundtrack for the release of Wind Waker HD? I want to believe…

  • MDH

This makes me very sad. Twilight Symphony and the completed Ocarina of Time reorchestration are fantastic. I was hoping for Wind Waker to be completed, too, and for the older titles to get more attention.

Well, many thanks to ZREO for the years and years of great music.

  • GanonLives

I’ve always been a fan and inspired by them and others. Best of luck to all those great musicians and may your music continue to inspire us all.

    Much darkness to you all

  • Grazi to all of those who spent their time making the best music ever. The zelda music was creative and really catchy I will never forget many songs,

    Keep on Gaming,

    Good-bye ZREO

  • lulles

Thanks for hosting all of their music!

  • Keimori

I fine farewell Zreo you will always have an honored spot in my collection.

I'd like to extend my best wishes for all your future endeavors.

  • Michael Smith

    So THAT’s what happened… sad.
