Hello, Universe! I am Rusty, once again bringing you another Music Monday! Today, our Music Monday spotlight shines on one of my favourite games, The Minish Cap! The music in this game is wonderful, and perfect to fit the teeny tiny adventures of Link and Ezlo. The Minish Cap’s music is some of the most remixable in the series, I think, and I can assure you someday you’ll be seeing a Minish Cap ZeldaTunes from me!
But until that day arrives, I’m sure you can make do with a fabulous ZeldaTunes, and my personal favourite song from The Minish Cap, “Minish Woods.” To hear my rendition of “Lake Hylia” from Twilight Princess covered on piano, and “Minish Woods”, hit the jump!
I am really, really happy with the way that turned out, even though I wanted to make a cross between a lullaby, and sort of a piano ballad. I love doing piano arrangements, and I’m glad I got the chance to revamp “Lake Hylia” and share it with all of you! Next, a true classic, “Minish Woods” from The Minish Cap!
If you ask me what I like so, so much about this song I honestly couldn’t tell you. Maybe it’s the nostalgia factor, or maybe it’s the charm of GameBoy Advance style music, but either way, I remember walking through those woods, and wondering “Wait… What am I doing? Where am I going? Is that a talking hat?” and that is really just the beginning of Link’s amazing adventure, big, and small!
