The Wind Waker Challenges

Challenge #30: Defeat Ghoma on the Wind Waker demo included on the Collector’s Edition disk.
Difficulty: Hard
The Collector’s Edition disk lets you play three stages of The Wind Waker for twenty minutes each. One of these stages is Dragon Roost Cavern. It’s possible to clear the entire dungeon and defeat Ghoma in this demo, but you’ll need to be very quick and precise. The boss battle is particularly tense since the demo could end at any moment.

Challenge #31: Defeat Gohdan without ever L-targeting the boss or its hands, carrying the smallest quiver. Have only three to six heart containers, no fairies or potions.
Difficulty: Moderate
You’ll need to be very quick and precise while shooting through the first-person perspective. You have only a short window to stun both hands, and you’ll quickly run out of arrows. Gohdan provides ten arrows each time your ammo is gone.

Challenge #32: Defeat Jahhalla wearing Iron Boots the entire battle. Have only three to six heart containers, no fairies or potions.
Difficulty: Moderate
This one gets challenging when Jalhalla continuously reverses your controls while throwing fire around you. Later in the battle the beams of light appear for only a brief period, so it can be a struggle to get to them in time.

Challenge #33: Defeat Molgera wearing Iron Boots the entire battle. Have only three to six heart containers, no fairies or potions.
Difficulty: Hard
This one can get pretty tough. The trick is to find a way to escape the bottom of the quicksand pit before Molgera appears and swallows you. The sand moves you towards Molgera, and the boots aren’t very versatile. The sand worms often make it tough to target the proper direction.

Challenge #34: Defeat Puppet Ganon’s three forms wearing Iron Boots the entire battle. Have only three to six heart containers, no fairies or potions.
Difficulty: Hard
You can attack Spider Ganon while it’s falling from above. During the battle with Snake Ganon, you can do a Hurricane Spin and attack the puppet’s face to stun it, then crash into the raised platform to prevent Link from getting dizzy.

Challenge #35: Defeat Ganondorf wearing Iron Boots the entire battle. Have only three to six heart containers, no fairies or potions. Do not use the Magic Armor.
Difficulty: Hard
Don’t be afraid to go on the offense now and then – it makes the battle more exciting than if you’re constantly standing at a safe distance, waiting for parries.
