What's up for grabs?

Nintendo and Best Buy have teamed up to offer 3DS users exclusive content in Best Buy stores throughout the US. The stores are going to offer 3DS users access to the SpotPass service, which allows the console to connect to an available Wi-Fi network and download new information, as well as exclusive trailers and gameplay extras. What could this mean for the Legend of Zelda series? Maybe we’ll be seeing exclusive  trailers for Ocarina of Time 3D, or possibly even Skyward Sword. Once Ocarina of Time 3D is released, we could even be seeing in-game extras available through this service, so it’s definitely something to keep your eyes on. We’ll probably be learning more about this service at E3.

The service will begin on June 7th at around 1,000 Best Buy stores, shortly after the 3DS eShop update. What do you think the service will offer fans of the Legend of Zelda series? Let us know in the comments!

I hate this kind of stuff. I don't like that I HAVE to buy it frmo Best Buy just to not miss out on some exclusive stuff. smh

I hope it brings new sidequest to the Master quest version of OOT.

Well, just reading that blurb, it doesn’t sound like you have to BUY anything. It just looks like you’ll be able to stop by for some exclusive stuff not connected to pre-orders or purchases. Which could be better for those that don’t buy don Best Buy.

As long as I’m not paying for it, I’m all for it.

Hmm…This sounds VERY nice. 😀 I have to go to best buy soonish as it is so may as well take advantage of this (that's if the one I go to is one of the 1000). 🙂

A 3DS isn't an add-on, it's an amazing NEW SYSTEM. I have it, and it is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. But it is NOT AN ADD-ON. I wish people would stop thinking that it is just another DS add-on.

I REALLY hope my Best Buy is one of these. However, I have a lot of Best Buys around me, so chances are one of them will have it.

Damn it! what about Canada? EH!?

I was thinking the same thing… if it's in Best Buy, why not Best Buy's in Canada. I would hope they will be offering it to us as well.

If not just send us the video's and previews and promo stuff through the internet. I have a router I can get stuff that way.,

BS Zelda: Ocarina of Time. A handful of new dungeons and a tacked-on story. Play as your mii. You can only use this between 10:59 PM until Midnight. With the satellite add-on to your 3DS.
