Dark Link First4Figures

You may or may not know it, but whenever First4Figures announces a new Zelda statue they do so, exclusively, through us! And so, today, we are proud to announce the newest statue in their The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time series: Dark Link. Along with this information, we’ve got the first teaser-image (above) and some exclusive info after the jump. So get reading!

First4Figures is a company that specializes in licensed statues or figures based on video game characters. They’ve created several statues for Nintendo using characters from the Metroid and The Legend of Zelda series. Within the The Legend of Zelda series are two different sub-series: The Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask series and the Twilight Princess “Masters Arts” series.

In February 2011 First4Figures will release a new statue in the Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask series: Darunia. The latest statue in Twilight Princess “Masters Arts” is Wolf Link and Midna, which will release in Q2 2011. Today, we are proud to announce their newest installment in the Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask-series: Dark Link.

Along with this teaser image above, we’ve got some juicy some exclusive info about this statue:

  • The statue will be built in the same scale like the other Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask statues in the series.
  • The statue will be about 12 inches tall including the base and 9 inches wide from the tip of Dark Link’s sword to the other side.
  • There will be an exclusive edition which will only be available through the First4Figures website. First4Figures can’t yet confirm or deny if the only difference between the normal and exclusive version will be LED-light in the eyes for Dark Link for the exclusive version.
  • The statue is created and painted by hand. It will be limited and it will release in a colorful box, just like all of the other First4Figures statues.
  • Since there isn’t any official artwork of Dark Link, First4Figures was free to decide Dark Link’s pose. Nintendo approved their eventual choice.
  • If you ordered previous statues in the Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask series on www.First4Figures.com (or will do so) and you also order the Dark Link statue on that website, you will get the same product number. For new customers, low numbers will be given on a first come first served basis.
  • Pre-orders will start this coming Tuesday, February 1st, 2011. The price and quantity available will then be revealed.

Will you be getting one? What do you think of this newest addition to their Ocarina of Time series of statues? Let us know in the comments, and keep an eye out for the start of pre-orders this coming Tuesday! You can head to First4Figures’s website for more info about Dark Link and their other statues.
