Tears of the Kingdom: How to complete ‘The Missing Farm Tools’ side adventure
“The Missing Farm Tools” is one of the 12 side adventures of the Lucky Clover Gazette quest line, “Potential Princess Sightings!” that, as the name suggests, sees you look for clues on the missing Princess Zelda’s whereabouts.

To begin this quest, you’ll need to locate and travel to the Wetland Stable, which is southeast of Lookout Landing and west of Lanayru Wetlands. The coordinates of the Stable are 0890, -0150, 0025.
If you haven’t already done it, your arrival at Wetland Stable is a great time to activate the Tukarok Shrine of Light, which is south of the stable. It makes return trips to the Stable much simpler.
There is only one requirement that you will need to meet to complete this quest:
- Traysi must have already recruited you when you arrived at the Lucky Clover Gazette headquarters at (what used to be) Rito Stable.
When you arrive at the stable you will find Penn taking notes to the right of the boarded horses. He will tell you that according to the stable hands, Princess Zelda of all people asked to borrow their farming tools. She promised to return them, but they never saw her or the farm tools again.
After speaking to Penn, head down to the Stables dock to find the Stablehand that handed the tools over to Princess Zelda, Izra, for more information. Isra tells you that he wants to go and take back their tools, however, their boat is in bad shape and requires fixing before they go anywhere.
Completing “The Missing Farm Tools”
After speaking to Izra, you will see the stable’s broken raft floating beside him in the river. Jump on the raft and you will see a diagonal piece of sky island wedged in the water. On top of the wreckage are the items you need to complete your boat: a steering wheel, a fan, and a battery.

Using Ultrahand, do the following:
- Pick up the fan, turn it onto its side, and attach it facing outward to the back of the raft.
- Pick up the steering stick and secure it at the front of the raft beside Izra’s seat.
- Lastly, pick up the battery and place it anywhere on the raft that isn’t going to get in the way.
When the boat is completely assembled, head back to Izra to tell him that you will take him down to Floret Sandbar. He will notice that you have fixed his vessel and will take a seat, leaving you to take care of the travel arrangements.
Jump onto the raft and cut the rope attached to the post before stepping up to the steering stick and the boat will come to life.

It’s simple to stay in control as you meander your way down to Floret Sandbar, as the current will do most of the work. All you need to do is steer. Take it slowly around the bends and avoid the large pieces of sky island that are dotted about the river. Eventually, you will approach the end of the river, and Izra will tell you to pull in beside the dock and you will both disembark from the raft only to be met by Penn shortly after.

Upon your arrival in Floret Sandbar, you will find that a very familiar woman called Magda is now in possession of the stable’s farming tools and that she and Princess Zelda have been building a flower sanctuary. However, she will tell you that she would have returned them before now but sanctuary was destroyed by falling sky debris during the upheaval. And since the princess went missing, she has been struggling with rebuilding it by herself.
Izra realizes that he never told the princess that the tools needed to be returned by a specific time and absentmindedly offers Magda some tips to help her to complete her work, which leas him to being roped into helping her rebuild the princesses’ treasured garden.
Izra opts to stay behind with Magda, and with all the facts now coming to light, “The Missing Farm Tools” side adventure comes to an end. Penn divulges he has enough to work with on a new article for the Gazette and hands over your payment plus a small bonus from Traysi.
