Keaton Quiz

The Keaton Quiz is a mini-game that tests your knowledge of the game by asking a series of questions. You have to answer 5 questions correctly in a row to win a prize.

All of the questions ask about specific details you can learn while playing Majora’s Mask. You will learn the answers to a few of them during an average playthrough, but many of them require knowledge you would never think to remember or details you would completely overlook. You could spend hours playing the game and resetting time to learn the answers, but there is no good incentive to do so. Sometimes it is better to experience everything for yourself, but for this mini-game, you’ll enjoy it more if you just look up the answers. We have them all all the questions and the correct answers listed on this page.

There are 3 places in Majora’s Mask where you can summon Keaton: North Clock Town, Milk Road, and the Mountain Village (but the Mountain Village location is only available while Spring has returned to the mountain).

In these 3 areas, you can find Rustling Grass; this is different from normal grass because the circle of grass will begin moving and then disappear if you cut or lift it. If you disturb the grass while wearing the Keaton Mask, then a Keaton will appear and play the quiz game with you. An easy way to summon Keaton is to wear the Keaton Mask and then lift piece of grass in the center of the circle of Rustling Grass.

Rewards

If you are playing the original version of Majora’s Mask, then you only need to complete the quiz one time to win a Piece of Heart. Additional wins only reward 20 rupees.

However, in the Nintendo 3DS remake, Majora’s Mask 3D, additional wins reward you with a Fishing Hole Pass. This is a completely optional addition to the game, but you need the passes to enter.
