Ishodag Shrine: ‘A Windy Device’
Ishodag Shrine is located in Central Hyrule and teaches the basics of working with Fans.
Glide to the top — or use Recall
Note that this first puzzle will be more complicated if you have not found the Paraglider yet. For that reason, we have solutions for how to proceed with or without the ability to glide.
With the Paraglider: Pick up the Fan, point it upward, activate it, and then jump and glide into the wind to reach the upper platform.
Without the Paraglider: You can solve the puzzle with Ultrahand and Recall. Pick up the Fan with Utrahand and place it on the upper platform. Then, pick it up again and return it to the ground. Jump on top of the Fan and then use Recall on it to ride it to the upper platform.
Create a moving raft
The next room contains a large pond, but you cannot easily swim across it. Attach a Fan to the center of the back of one of the wood platforms to create a raft. Activate the Fan and ride the raft to the other side of the pond.
Attach Fans to create an elevator
Attach two Fans to the bottom of the platform at the end of the room. Face the Fans toward the floor. Get on the platform and activate the Fans to push yourself to the highest ledge and the end of the shrine.
