With the 1.3 update for Genshin Impact right around the corner, we are getting more information about what to expect. To kick off February, Xiao, an Anemo Polearm-user, will be the featured banner starting on February 3. Keqing becomes the featured banner starting on February 17.
In other character news, from February 18 until March 7, the “Stand By Me” event will give players the choice of several four-star characters. Players can get Beidou, Chongyun, Ningguang, Xiangling, Xingqui, or Xinyan during this time.
Finally, Xiao is heavily featured in the new story teaser: “Yakshas: The Guardian Adepti.” This brief video tells the story of how the Yakshas were defeated and gives us a glimpse into Xiao’s background. Be warned, there are some very minor spoilers if you have not played through the first chapter of the game.
