Boundary Break puts a new perspective on Twilight Princess

Boundary Break is back to take a look at another game from the Zelda series! This time, YouTuber Shesez explores the off-camera content of Twilight Princess, specifically the Ordon Village sequence and the cutscenes at the start of the game.

A couple of cool tricks that the developers used stood out in the video: First up, they liked to freeze character models as they walk out of camera shot. It works great while you’re playing the game, but it’s hilarious when Link and Rusl suddenly stop moving and Epona keeps trudging along.

Second, the developers answer the philosophical question of whether or not the people of Ordon Village truly need rooms if the player is not there to see them. The answer is a resounding no, resulting in Link standing in a box while he talks to people, and houses with only their front walls intact.

If you enjoyed the video and want more Twilight Princess, you’re in luck! Shesez noted he plans to make additional Boundary Break videos featuring Twilight Princess.

But if you can’t wait, there’s more! Shesez recently explored A Link Between Worlds in all its tilted glory, or, if you missed out on it before, here’s our look at his episode on Breath of the Wild. If that’s not enough, swing by Shesez’s YouTube channel and check out the full Boundary Break series playlist!
