Yahaha! It’s already been more than a year since the release of the latest entry in the Zelda series, Breath of the Wild. The game, aside from offering what’s considered the best open-world experience so far, also gives players the chance of partaking in a side quest of monumental proportions: Finding all the 900 Korok Seeds spread around Hyrule. By now, most players will either have accomplished this insane feat or cried in despair and moved on with their lives. That said, what if I told you that there’s one more Korok to be found, this time in Ancient Greece?
Ubisoft’s newest game, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, features a cute little nod to our beloved leaf friends. If you head to a small island off the coast of Pandora’s Cove in the nation of Malis, you will be met with the very familiar sight of a circle of stones and, in its center, a small figure comprised of rocks, sticks, and a leaf. IGN released a video showing where to find this glorious Easter egg:
Unfortunately, no Korok Seeds are awarded by this discovery, but it is still nice to see a reference to the Zelda series here, specially seeing how Nintendo and Ubisoft’s partnership seems to be growing ever stronger with Mario & Rabbids, Star Fox’s appearance in Starlink, and so on.
