This was rather unexpected during my regular scan through Nintendo’s YouTube channel and social media feeds today. Nintendo UK have uploaded two very short videos of producer Shigeru Miyamoto and Splatoon director Tsubasa Sakaguchi posing as Amiibo figures. It’s up to you to guess which Amiibo they are impersonating!
It should be noted that this doesn’t appear to be part of a new contest, it just seems to be Nintendo having some fun with their audience, which I dig. How many other major gaming publishers do you know which would have their highest ranking staff perform silly poses?
I’m pretty confident I know which Amiibo these guys are mimicking, though I won’t spoil it for those who want to join in. Sound off in the comments below and on Nintendo UK’s Twitter!
