The Zelda series has inspired some pretty impressive fan-work. Using Spirit Tracks as a style guide, Aleš Jánošík carved a six-inch basswood Link statue completely by hand. Jánošík highlights the creative process of the woodcarving on his blog, starting with the rough outline, meticulously transforming the single block of wood into a piece of art.
