Over at GoNintendo some pictures of a real Deku Shield have made an appearance. Quite realistic, I must add, super impressive. The creator also is selling them over on Etsy.com.

This Deku Shield measures 12″ and the widest, 13″ inches at the tallest, 3/4″ thick and is made of white oak, acrylic paint, and fake leather. The artist describes it as: “Cut rough to represent the look of the Deku Shield, but sanded and sealed as to not fill your hands with splinters, a problem Link would tell you about if he talked.”

More related artwork (including wooden Rupees!) has been created by the same tumblr user that this Deku Shield has originated from and can be checked out here.
