It looked like Adam and Eve. But hey, thats how they made it.

i think this is a really cheap story, it could've been more refrences to minish, rito or whatever.

  • It's pretty nice. And i'm loving the music.

  • Aeolus

SWEEEEEET! The music is great! I love how the legend seems so real, like it is a real-world myth, and not the product of a fantasy game!! And the music!!

  • Hugo

Hm… the "spirits" that fights the demon king looks like a wind. Is it just me, or does this maybe have something to do with the hero of winds?

@ 1:03, 4 triforce peices????????????????? omg omg omg.. lol jks I don't beleive in the 4 triforces…and how is this adam and eve? its more of like… an explorer's story..

I do really like the music, but I don't really like the opening. The Phantom Hourglass one was better because it had Link in it. Of course, here we go again with the paper cutouts. They look so awesome. I can't wait until Spirit Tracks!

  • LuX

The first settlers of that land……..im thinking Link and Tetra 😉

    • Quest

I'm pretty sure the land was always there with people and everything, then Link and Tetra found it a decided to call it Hyrule.

  • Aeolus

^or are Link and Tetra the second? hmmm? Lol. I'm thinking the first are the Lokomo people, and then Link and Tetra came in… though Id rather them be first

  • dan banan

re the first settlers being lokomo:
in the video they seem to have very short legs, perhaps the wheels of the lokomo people are NOT part of their body, but just some construction for their short legs, enabling them to ride the train tracks/shackles..?

  • Scott

Must of took place before Link And Tetra discovered new Hyrule.

    1:22-1:25

… It looks as though "the spirits" take the form of birds, and the one thing i could think thereafter was-
The spirits are Oocca. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying I subscribe to that theory (even if it was my own), I am simply pointing out the fact that the spirits are portrayed as birds (and wind).

I think those are just doves, doves usually symbolize peace.

wow… the music!!! and the everything! and the music!

  • Ken

If Link or/and Tetra were there the demon king would be sealed/destroyed by Link, instead of the sprits.

  • Jeanie

Maybe the Lokomo people didn't have those little wheelchair things at first, which made their day-to-day lives very difficult as they had to pull themselves along the ground with their arms. When Link and Tetra arrived, they built the Lokomo some little wheelchairs from parts of their pirate ship. To express their gratitude, the Lokomo made Link and Tetra the rulers of their kingdom.

aaah the music sounds something between african and japanese love it! :3

Is this considered a spoiler or will it actually enhance the experience? What is your preference, finding out about stuff ingame or offgame? I'm split myself, part of me wants to click the play button, but there's so many years in between Zelda games that I really don't want to risk it. Unfortunatelly I once found out about adult Link and that was before I had played OoT, what a story twist, too bad I knew about it. So I must learn nothing about this new Zelda too early.

  • Linkfan101

It's not Link and Tetra that's for sure. The people in it show no resemblance to Link and Tetra. The story is about the people living at a time where the Demon King was attacking the land or something like that and the spirits imprisoned him underground. If it had Link and Tetra it would have something like. " The young boy with possession of the Phantom Hourglass defeated the evil phantom and brought peace to the seas." Still, the music is awesome and I can't wait for it.

Waaaaait, so Niko is the one showing the paper cutouts right? That gets me thinking, why would Niko just randomly show Link this backstory? I would assume that either:

    A) Link knows Niko somehow as a mentor or something…
    or
    B) Link is related to Niko somehow…

The latter is a bit of a leap but maybe….

  • Hyrule Weirdo

Do we actually know that this is set in Hyrule? It might not be since there is no mention of this in other games. Or is there? The spirits MIGHT be the sages from OoT and that would mean that the demon is Ganondorf but I don't think so.

Still freaked out by the 4 Triforce pieces
