Bomb Bags

Zora’s Domain

Once you have the Zora Armor and some Water Bombs, dive down in the throne room to investigate the volcanic rock that you used to thaw the ice. Destroy the rock with a Water Bomb to free a Goron. Speak to him to receive an extra Bomb Bag. You may need to wait a few seconds before he will talk to you properly.

Zora’s River

After restoring light to Lanayru Province, return to Upper Zora’s River and talk to Iza outside her boat rental shop. Walk away in the direction of Zora’s Domain and you will be trapped by Shadow Beasts. Defeat all three of them and Iza will invite you inside. Agree to help clear the debris blocking the river and she will send you off in a boat with unlimited Bomb Arrows. Ride the current downstream until you meet a Zora. Use some Bomb Arrows to destroy the rocks blocking the river and follow her to the end at Lake Hylia. You will be allowed to keep the Bomb Bag Iza gave you.

Iza’s Rapid Ride

Go back to Iza after unblocking Zora’s River and pay 20 rupees to hire a boat. The aim is to destroy as many pots with Bomb Arrows as possible on your way down the river. You have unlimited Bomb Arrows to do this. Yellow pots are worth 1 point, red pots are worth 2 points. However, any collision at all will cost you 1 point. The boat handles poorly, so you should steer well away from obstacles and destroy any remaining debris to prevent collisions. The maximum possible score is 30, so you can afford to lose 5 points. Your reward is the Giant Bomb Bag, which doubles the number of bombs of any type you can carry in all of your Bomb Bags.

Bomblings

Bomblings can be bought from Barnes’s Bombs in Kakariko Village after retrieving the Master Sword and the shop in Castle Town once it has been taken over by Malo Mart.

You will need an empty Bomb Bag in order to buy Bomblings. Pressing whatever button you have assigned them to will send them scuttling along the ground until they hit an enemy or obstacle and explode. They can also be used to make Bomb Arrows. The maximum amount you can hold is 10, or 20 with the Giant Bomb Bags. They are not necessary to complete the game, but it is worth getting some for the novelty factor, or for unusual combat situations.

Quivers

STAR Game: First Challenge

The Large Quiver can be obtained by winning the first STAR game in Hyrule Castle Town.

Getting the Clawshot is a prerequisite for this, as the game is rigged to be impossible. It takes place in the the tent near the east gate and costs 10 rupees to play. The aim is to gather all of the colorful orbs within 30 seconds. Since it takes place in a cage you can grapple to any point on the walls or roof using the Clawshot. Most of the orbs can be collected by jumping across all of the platforms around the edges. Then you can use the Clawshot to get the remaining orbs.

STAR Game: Second Challenge

The Giant Quiver can be obtained by beating the second challenge in the STAR game.

After you beat the first STAR game, Purlo designs a special challenge to get his revenge. The floor is covered in spikes (except for the small circle that you start in) and the orbs are positioned all around the cage. The only way to win is by using the Double Clawshots to zip between the walls. It costs 15 rupees to play and the time limit is 1 minute and 30 seconds. Speed and efficiency are both important factors: you want to collect as many orbs as possible with every move to save time, but spending too long planning your course also costs precious seconds.Try to find a balance between the two.
