Chapter 22 – Triforce Shard 7: Stone Watcher Island
Note: In The Wind Waker HD the Triforce Shard is found on Stone Watcher Island. In the original game you will have to get a Triforce Chart deciphered and fish it up from the ocean floor near Seven-Star Isles.
Sail to Stone Watcher Island, one square southeast of Greatfish Isle. Climb to the top of the island and lift the giant head-shaped rock to reveal a cave.
Go through the first door to find a large circular room. The door opposite is barred, but four more rooms are accessible. Enter each room and defeat the enemies inside.
- Bottom right – Bokoblins
- Top right – Wizzrobes
- Top left – Moblins
- Bottom left – Armos
When you return to the central chamber after clearing every room, two Darknuts will be waiting for you. Defeat them to unlock the door where the treasure is held. Use the Darknuts’ swords to destroy the pillars, as quite a few Rupees can be found this way.
Play the Wind’s Requiem on the wind mosaic in the final room to reveal a Treasure Chest.
In The Wind Waker HD this will contain the Triforce Shard itself. In The Wind Waker this will contain a Triforce Chart.
Take the Triforce Chart to Tingle Island to get it deciphered for 398 Rupees (see chapter 16 for more information). You may have never been to the Seven-Star Isles, where the Triforce Shard is hidden. It is actually just one square north of Dragon Roost Island. There will be a large number of Warships and Kargaroc, which make it difficult to find the sunken Treasure Chest. The Magic Armor may help you here (see the Trading Sequence for more information).
