6.0 Getting to the Labyrinth
From the starting screen, head right one screen, up five screens, left two screens, down one screen, left one screen up one screen, left two screens, down one screen, left one screen, and up one screen to find our next labyrinth–The Dragon.
If traveling like this is driving you crazy, there is an easier way to get around the overworked by using the Power Bracelet, which can be found fairly close to the entrance of this labyrinth. For detailed instructions, check out our Optional Items guide.
6.1 The Compass
Once again, there’s not much to do in the entrance hall, so head through the eastern door to enter a dark room with five Orange Wizzrobes (get used to seeing these guys, because you’re going to be seeing them a lot in this labyrinth). They basically teleport around the room and shoot fire beams at your face. Kill all of them to make a key appear.
Don’t use it on the northern door–that door leads you to an old man that tells you a cryptic hint about how to defeat the dungeon boss. Instead, backtrack to the entrance hall and head through the western door.
In this room you’ll come across four more Orange Wizzrobes. You don’t need to kill them. Do what you want with them, and then head through the northern door to find five Zols. Kill all of them to make the Compass appear. Snag it and head through the northern door.
6.2 The Map
The next room has eight Keese and four fireball-shooting Stone Statues. Kill all the Keese here, grab the key they drop, and then head north to find six Blade Traps. Run straight through to the door on the opposite side of the room and you should have no trouble.
This next room is really difficult. You’re faced with two Orange Wizzrobes, two tougher Blue Wizzrobes, three Like Likes, and one Bubble. Even better than that, you can’t leave this room until you kill all of them (sans Bubble). If you haven’t upgraded your gear (see the Optional Items guide), you could have a lot of trouble in this room. Kill all of the enemies (with the exception of the Bubble) and push the left block to unlock the doors.
Head through the northern door to encounter two Orange Wizzrobes and three Blue Wizzrobes. You don’t have to kill any of them unless you want rupees, so just ignore them.
Head through the northern door to encounter Gleeok (again)! This time, Gleeok has three heads instead of two. The main strategy to take him down is still the same, so take him down to unlock the eastern door and head through it.
The door will lead you to a room with two Like Likes, two Zols, and two bubbles. Kill all of them to make the Map appear. Grab it, and then use one of your keys the enter the northern room.
6.3 The Magic Wands
In this room you’ll come across two Orange Wizzrobes and three Blue Wizzrobes. Kill all of them, and then push the left block to make a stairwell appear leading you to the Magic Wand.
Head out of the stairwell, go through the southern door, and then head through the eastern door to find three Orange Wizzrobes and a key in the middle of the room. Avoid or kill the Wizzrobes, grab the key, and head back to the previous room.
In the previous room, go through the southern door to come across a dark room with two Orange Wizzrobes and three Blue Wizzrobes. You don’t need to kill them, so just light up the room, grab the key and head through the southern door.
The next room is also dark and contains five Vires. Light up the room, kill all of them, and then enter through the eastern door.
If you upgraded your sword to the Magical Sword at this point, the Vires will not split into the Red Keese. For detailed instructions on how to get the sword, refer to the Optional Items guide.
The next room is another really hard one. You’ve got a pair of both Orange and Blue Wizzrobes, three Like Likes, and one Bubble to take care of. Kill all of them, then push the block to make a stairwell appear. Enter the stairwell, down the stairs, and then climb up the right set of stairs.
The secret passage will bring you to a room with a pair of Zols, a pair of Like Likes, and a pair of Bubbles. Thankfully, you don’t need to kill any of them, so just avoid them and head through the southern door.
This room contains three Vires and a pair of Bubbles. Kill all the Vires for a key, and then head through the western door to find a pair of both Orange and Blue Wizzrobes, as well as six Blade Traps. You don’t need to kill any of the Wizzrobes, and you don’t need to enter the room to the south either, so just unlock the northern door and head through it to take on the boss of the labyrinth, Ghoma.
6.4 Boss: Ghoma
Ghoma is one of the easiest bosses of the game. She will shoot fireballs at you when her eye is closed, but she will eventually open her eye for a small period, allowing you to shoot an arrow at her and kill her in one shot.
Grab the Heart Container she leaves behind, and head through the door she wash blocking to grab the next shard of the Triforce.
