1. Rauru Town and Parapa Desert

Beginning from North Castle
Your adventure begins in North Castle. This is your starting point every time you start up the game or receive a Game Over, so get used to seeing it – you’re likely to see it a lot! There’s nothing to do here, so just walk to the far left or far right of the room to leave the castle to enter the Western Hyrule overworld.
Your first destination is Rauru Town to the southeast of North Castle. Try to stay on the yellow road. If you venture into the plains or forest, you may run into enemies, but defeating the enemies in this area is not helpful and may actively make the game more difficult. If you stay on the yellow road, enemies cannot attack you.
Follow the road northeast and then turn to the south to find Rauru Town.
Learn the Shield spell
When you enter Rauru Town, walk to the left until you pass through a tunnel and enter the west side of town. Then, look for a long white house. A woman wearing red will walk out of the house; speak to her and then follow her inside the house.
Speak to the woman and enter the white house. 
Speak to the man inside the white house to learn the Shield spell.
Inside the house, walk to the right to the next room and then down the stairs to meet the Wise Man of Rauru Town. Speak to him to learn the Shield spell, which reduces the amount of damage you take by half until you leave the room.
Travel through Parapa Desert
Now that you have the Shield spell, you are ready to travel to the first dungeon, Parapa Palace. The palace is near the northeast corner of Parapa Desert, which is northeast of Rauru Town.
Leave Rauru Town and travel north along the road. There is a cave entrance north of Rauru Town; enter the cave.
Crouch down and watch for a moving shadow. 
When the Lowder gets close…attack!
The cave is dark, but it is not empty! There is one enemy, a Lowder, lurking in the cave. You can see it moving in the darkness if you watch the ground carefully. Defeat the Lowder and continue through the cave until you reach the other side.
You will exit the cave in Parapa Desert. Parapa Palace is not far from the cave entrance. There is no road to follow through this area to protect you from enemies, so be prepared to defend yourself.
Continue walking northeast to find the entrance to Parapa Palace.
