Everything we know about the new Ultrahand ability
Ultrahand is the name of a new ability in Tears of the Kingdom that allows you to pick up objects to move them around and connect them to other objects. Ultrahand uses a mysterious green glue to combine objects. By connecting objects you can create vehicles such as rafts/boats, flying machines, and cars/tractors.
Unlike the Magnesis ability in Breath of the Wild, Ultrahand seems to be able to pick up nearly any object. However, the exact limitations on its ability to grab objects is not yet known.
This guide will be updated as we learn more and after the game is released to include the limitations and provide guidance for how to best use the Ultrahand ability to traverse the world, fight enemies, and solve puzzles.

Making vehicles
The vehicles shown in the latest trailers and gameplay demonstration are not like Horses or the Master Cycle from Breath of the Wild. Instead of being permanent features you unlock, the vehicles are a type of contraption you create out of objects you find in the world. The biggest limit is your own imagination!
So far, we have seen wood planks, logs, and metal sheets used to create vehicles. However, they will not move without attaching a Fan.

Powering vehicles with Fans
Fans originate from Sky Islands, but you can find them all over the game world. When you strike a Fan with a weapon, it begins to blow air until it is struck a second time or runs out of battery power.
Every Fan has limited about of battery power that is reduced as long as it is blowing air. When the Fan runs out of battery power or is turned off, the battery power slowly replenishes.
You can use the Ultrahand ability to attach one or more Fans to your makeshift vehicles to make them move forward or fly into the air.
